Amaranta Henriquez, LMHC
I founded this practice as an inclusive community to encourage healing and self growth. I utilize an integrative approach, combining cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and EMDR Therapy. My clients are typically 20’s-40’s working through trauma or transitional life periods. As an EMDR trained therapist I believe EMDR is an especially helpful method for moving people towards freedom from debilitating emotional responses.

I work with teens and adults to assist in any difficulties they may have. I do not recognized an individual approach because every client is different and unique in their own way. My goal is to help you to become yourself in a safe space free of judgement. We will work together to achieve your goals in counseling.

Lauryn Gutierrez, MHC-LP
I work with children, adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, self esteem, multicultural, and life-transitions. Our sessions will consist of a safe, open, and comforting environment where you are able to fully express yourself without feeling as though you need to hold back. We will work together on identifying and accomplishing the goals you have for yourself. I will provide you with the tools and skills that work best for you and your needs but that will also allow you to see the changes you want for yourself. We will work as a team that is based on the premise of empathy, understanding and encouragement. I want to help you to see that the past does not define who you are or who you can become. I will help you to see that your feelings and experiences are valid and that they are nothing to be ashamed of.

I have experience working in underserved communities helping clients achieve mental and emotional well-being. I believe in fighting against social injustice and the stigma around mental health. My approach is supportive and goal oriented. I value authenticity and compassion. My philosophy is that we all have inner strengths, skills, and resources to help us overcome obstacles and build resilience. I believe that with proper support along that journey, we can achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. I understand that the healing and growth process is not always easy or comfortable; thus, I strive to help clients reclaim their power and empower them in creating positive change.

I chose to enter the professional world of counseling to be a catalyst for change in a person’s life and to provide the necessary tools for problem solving. As a therapist, my desire is to help each client discover, uncover, and learn parts of their personal story. It is my wish to welcome every client by providing an accepting and understanding therapeutic space. Together we will cultivate an environment as therapist and client, that encourages and empowers. Clients are invited into their treatment planning and goal settingprocess. I am eager to work with all ages and backgrounds, especially those experiencing the effects of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
